Grape variety and "Terroir"
The vines reserved for this vintage flourish on clay-limestone soils from the Jurassic era, not far from the rocky outcrops of Solutré and Vergisson. Originating from the slopes of the commune of Prissé at the foot of the Château de Montceau, which once belonged to the poet Alphonse de Lamartine, this wine made from a single Chardonnay variety has plenty of strength and character!
Grape variety and "Terroir"
Ideal served as an aperitif, as well as with a meal of sophisticated dishes such as sweetbreads with a cream sauce, followed by semi-matured or fresh goat’s cheese.
Food and wine pairing
The typicity of this wine is expressed with talent on a smoked salmon cake, a Saint-Jacques salad, pike quenelles or Burgundy parsley snails. With a storage potential of 3 to 5 years, this wine is ideally served between 11 and 13°C.
A model of balance and purity, a naturally elegant wine.Cellar Master
